Clod is a psycho killer who was invited inside by his eventual victim.
About[]
Clod’s working life started as a door-to-door door salesman. On discovering that people already had doors a devastated Clod pursued another career. A little bit of light killing on weekends. He manages to find himself quite busy for those willing to open their doors. To this day, he still hates doors.
Appearance[]
He is a green bean with a white hockey mask. He also wields a bladed brown glove and a chainsaw.

Dumb Ways to Die[]
Clod opens the door.
He is seen being invited by an unseen character which he then kills off-screen. He then appears in the third chorus just to wave before leaving.
Trump Ways to Die[]
He appeared in this video too. When Trump walked into the elevator, the elevator became black. When light shone again, Trump fell, and behind him stood Clod with Trump's hair. In the chorus, he is a Tertiary Dancer.

Clod is only visible at the end of the credits of the game (along with his own minigames), and is not unlockable for the player's Train Station.

The panda is between the two Clod's.
Clod does appear in the game. Here, the player needs to choose the door without Clod. There are two Clods at each door and one panda. Failure results in Clod coming in. If the panda is chosen, the player will win.
- Psycho Search

After an update, Clod has a new minigame. In the game, the player must use their finger to guide a small light around a dark room to find Clod. If successful, Clod will be imprisoned in a metal cage, much to his chagrin. Failure results in Clod scratching at the screen with his bladed glove.
- Best Chest
Two Clod's.

In the pirate update, the player needs to choose the treasure chest without Clod. When the player focuses on the empty chest, all three close and get mixed around. If you lose, Clod scratches the screen with his hook, failing. If you choose the right one, a panda pops out.
- Bushwhacked!
The vines.
Unlocked by default for a limited time
In the Valentine's day update, the player must cut the vines by swiping horizontally. If the player cuts all vines, Clod will bust himself out of a rose bush, and will offer a bouquet with red roses toward the front, which is though stuck in his claws. If any vines remain uncut after the time runs out, Clod will be stuck at vines and will take an attempt to escape from them, but the thorns will make him bleed, and he will become sad, failing the minigame.
- Sneak 'n' Snack

Clod getting caught by Hapless, much to his terror.
Clod has an Easter-themed minigame which is similar to Hapless' second minigame. In it, the players have to tap to make Clod get to the window. If so, Hapless will wake up to some melted eggs. If they don't make it to the window in time, or they tap too fast, Hapless will wake up and catch Clod stealing eggs. Clod will be scared and jump out the window, breaking it and leaving blood over it, resulting in failure.

Clod is one of the unlockable Epic beans. His ability is Slasher which counts +100% Score Multiplier. He can be found in gifts.

Comparisons and Design[]
- He, along with Stupe and Numskull, is absent in the Melbourne International Film Festival.
- Interestingly, they are all green.
- The three also wear something on their heads.
- They are also named after stupidity.
- He, Bungle (though stuck in the clothes dryer), Doomed (though in the bag), and Ninny (though blown up) are the only characters in the original video to not have any injuries.
- He, Bungle, and Calamity are the only three characters who don't dance in the video at all.
General[]
- In the mini-game, there is a Panda character. This animal only shows up in the app.
- His appearance draws inspiration from three fictional psycho murderers.
- The bladed glove is a reference to Freddy Krueger, an insane child murderer who kills his victims with blades attached to his leather gloves. He uses it just as Freddy does by simply slashing at his target.
- This also implies that beans have three fingers as Clod's glove has 3 blades, less than the amount attached to Freddy's gloves.
- The glove has was occasionally replaced by a hook in the original app.
- The hockey mask is a reference to Jason Vooheres, a vengeful killer against campers for the death of his mother, and took up a hockey mask to replace the sack that concealed his face.
- The chainsaw is a reference to Leatherface, a deranged, cannibalistic maniac who slices his victims with a chainsaw. However, he does not make prolific use of it, opting to attack with his glove instead.
- The bladed glove is a reference to Freddy Krueger, an insane child murderer who kills his victims with blades attached to his leather gloves. He uses it just as Freddy does by simply slashing at his target.
- He is the only character to pop up, rather than dance.
- Despite the mask Clod is wearing being an object, it is able to make face expressions, as shown in Bushwhacked! and Sneak n' Snack.
- He has the least amount of screen time in the video as he only appeared for 3 seconds.
- Despite having his own minigames, he is ironically the only character from the original music video who isn't unlockable.
- At the end of the credits section of the app (where the motto Be Safe Around Trains is mentioned), he also pops up to wave at the player.
- All of his minigames does not display the character icon on the start of the minigame screen.
- In Dumb Ways to Die 3, Clod always carries his weapons, even though it would be inconvenient for him to have them.
- He is confirmed as a male in the app, during 'Tweet your death' it's default message says "I probably shouldn't have opened the door for this guy".
- In the original video, Clod doesn't dance at all. However, in Trump Ways to Die, he is a Tertiary Dancer.
- In Dumb Ways to Die 3, his chainsaw may be replaced by other objects with certain costumes:
