Dummkopf, sometimes spelled as Dumbkopf[1] or Dummbkopf[2], is a bean who appears in the Dumb Ways to Die franchise. His appearances commonly involve him getting electrocuted while attempting to get his toast out with a fork, which causes his flesh to burn off and reveals his skeleton.
About[]
Dummkopf was named after his great grandfather, who enjoyed bomb disposal as a hobby. His name is German and roughly translated means someone who puts a fork in a toaster without pulling the plug out first. He is distantly related to Hapless, who also likes to prod dangerous things.

Appearance[]
Dummkopf appears to be a neon pink capsule-shaped bean. After his toaster accident, he loses all of his skin, and therefore turns into a skeleton.

Dummkopf is seen holding a toaster with a fork right in front of him. He lifts the toaster with the fork, which comes into contact with the machine and electrocutes him, burning off all his flesh. The only thing that remains of him after he got electrocuted is his skeleton, which looks down at the pile of ash which was once his flesh, frowning.
In the chorus, Dummkopf is a Secondary Dancer, and also can't sing due to losing his vocal chords.

Dummkopf is seen in a crowd watching a movie. He sat in front of Mishap, next to Hapless, and behind Lax and an extra bean.
Dumb Ways to Die - Watch out for slippery surfaces[]
Dummkopf is seen at the train station where he was sneezing onto the floor and then Calamity slipped on the snot, causing her to bleed.
Isolation Diaries with Botch[]
Dummkopf is seen as a plush, sitting on a countertop while a kid name "Tate" and Botch makes brownies.
Make the Beans come to life![]
The failure scene for "Fork Folly" plays at the start of the video. Dummkopf is also among the crowd at the Train Station.
Game[]
Dumb Ways to Die[]
Dummkopf can be unlocked for the player's Train Station, as the 4th bean to arrive at the train station in both versions. In older versions of Dumb Ways to Die, the player has to score 400 points to get him, which is nothing compared to the 80000 points required to unlock him in the newer versions. He is also the 18th thing to be unlocked in newer versions.
- Fork Folly

The player must carefully remove a piece of toast with a fork without touching the sides. If the toast touches the sides or if the player doesn't get it out at all, Dummkopf will get electrocuted, resulting in failure. Otherwise, he will get his toast successfully.
- Electro-Cute
Unlock at 320000 accumulated score
As part of the second update, he has a new game. This game requires the player to prevent appliances from falling into the sink where he is washing dishes. If any of the appliances touches the sink, Dummkopf gets electrocuted again. Otherwise, a piece of toast will land on his fork, and he will smile before taking a bite out of it.
- Flippin' Out

Dummkopf has a summer minigame where the player has to flip some patties he's preparing to keep them from burning. Winning will make him sit down serving burgers with a bunch of other kitchen appliances and receives another piece of toast. If the player lets any of the patties burn, he becomes a skeleton again, resulting in failure.
- Crocodile Conundrum

Dummkopf has a fourth minigame where he is swimming with a Crocodile in India. The player must tap as fast as they can to get Dummkopf to outrun the crocodile. Winning will make the crocodile kiss Dummkopf, and Dummkopf gets pleased. If the player doesn't tap fast enough or not tap at all, Dummkopf gets scared by a huge crocodile that eats him, resulting in failure, making this the first mini-game where he does not turn into a skeleton in failure.
This minigame shows an image of Dippy instead of Dummkopf's.
Dumb Ways to Die 2: The Games[]
Dummkopf is seen when Loopy wins the mini game of Run From the Goblins in the winter minigames. In the superhero-themed update, he is seen as one of the heroes.
Dumb Ways to Die 3: World Tour[]
He is available in Dumb Ways to Die 3, and can be obtained through gifts. His ability is named "shocking", and makes Dummkopf a 10% token multiplier.
Dumb Ways to Dash![]
Dummkopf can be obtained in Dumb Ways to Dash! at level 43.
Dumb Ways to Die: Superheroes[]
Dummkopf was originally going to be in Dumb Ways to Die: Superheroes (according to a TikTok trailer), but was removed before the launch of the game, alongside Putz and Simpleton.
